An Inside Look at BLUEPRINT 4D with Quest
BLUEPRINT 4D is quickly approaching and we imagine you have some questions surrounding the event. BLUEPRINT 4D is where Oracle customers come together with the Oracle product teams and partner community to learn, share and network together. We spoke with Jon Vaughn, Chief Executive Officer at Quest Oracle Community, for some behind-the-scenes information on BLUEPRINT 4D.
From Vegas to Dallas, what prompted the change in scenery?
We always like to look for venues that will provide a great experience for attendees – both for learning and a little bit of fun. Costs for our customer attendees and our exhibitors are another big consideration when selecting a conference location. Dallas is a centralized location with easy and reasonable travel accommodations. The Hilton Anatole in Dallas provides all of the above and their conference space allows Quest to create a more intimate conference experience for each of our Oracle product communities and the numerous networking activities that we offer.
With both events in person this year, how will BLUEPRINT 4D compare to JD Edwards INFOCUS?
Great question! The JD Edwards Forum at BLUEPRINT 4D is where JD Edwards customers will find information that will inform their business strategies, help them plan for the future and have access to great JD Edwards content and connections. This includes the latest product announcements and roadmap updates from Oracle, cloud strategies, best practices and what’s next on the technology roadmap so they are better equipped to advance their business. Attendees will also get the benefit of added value and app to all content such as our executive-level programming (Quest’s Executive Forum) and diversity and inclusion programming.
INFOCUS is where JD Edwards customers will dive deep into practical, hands-on learning to hone their JD Edwards skills. They’ll find hands-on workshops, live product demos, and have the opportunity to meet with JD Edwards experts and innovative customers to share best practices and customer success stories.
What can attendees look forward to?
That’s a tough one. There truly is so much we’re excited to be offering this year!
The lineup is going to be phenomenal with more than 125+ JD Edwards sessions, a keynote address from Oracle’s Gary Grieshaber, roadmap updates, panels and roundtable discussions and new feature demos to name just a few.
We have worked extremely hard to identify hot topics and tracks that are top of mind for each community, special industry programming and added even more networking opportunities while also keeping the ones such as Speed Networking, Coffee & Connects & Women in Technology luncheon that many are familiar with from past BLUEPRINT 4D events.
BLUEPRINT 4D attendees can expect to walk away with fresh insight, new skills and new connections. You’ll have the opportunity to meet 1:1 with Oracle Product Strategy leads and partners, and get the latest on Release 23, Orchestrator, running JD Edwards on OCI and more.
Last, but not least, we’re always thrilled when we get to come together face-to-face with the JD Edwards community to connect and learn while also having some fun. The BLUEPRINT 4D Attendee Appreciation Party will be at the AT&T Stadium – whether you’re a Dallas Cowboy fan or not, that’s going to be an awesome experience!
What’s new this year?
Along with a new location, we’ve added several new and exciting things! You’ll now find community-centric luncheons, lunch & learns, and happy hours, new session formats that range from keynotes to fast, bite-sized learning in our new Ignite Sessions, special industry programming, a new Move to the Cloud program, 1:1 meetings with the Oracle Product Strategy leads, and a fully re-designed Executive Forum.
Last but not least, Quest is thrilled to offer a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion program this year at BLUEPRINT 4D.
What’s a can’t miss?
I would encourage everyone to check out the fully redesigned Executive Forum for this year’s BLUEPRINT 4D. The forum is now a two-day program providing industry executives the opportunity to exchange insights, strategize on hot topics and benchmark on key initiatives like technology roadmap plans, Cloud apps or running JD Edwards on OCI. Plus, attendees can also participate in a variety of topical executive level sessions offered Monday – Thursday in the BLUEPRINT 4D general agenda.
And last, but certainly not least, a can’t miss is always the Exhibitor Showcase. Quest does a lot of the leg work for its members by identifying and connecting complementary third-party solutions providers to customers. We do the research to find and bring together vendors and partners relevant to the Quest Oracle communities in one convenient location. These solutions providers are a tremendous resource – if customers are not using this opportunity to pick the brains of our partner community, then they’re missing a critical resource that contributes greatly to the collective knowledge of the community. Our exhibitors always do a great job providing resources and subject matter experts and delivering demos to help the customer community be successful with their Oracle investments. Plus – new this year on the showfloor will be 3 theaters featuring key presenters, Oracle presentations and more!
