The Client
Belfor is the leading global fire, water and storm damage restoration and repair company. Belfor’s vision required an ERP solution that could support their double-digit business growth, allowing Belfor to minimize business interruptions for them and their clients by:
- Replacing legacy systems that were outdated, unstable and unable to support the growth of the organization for now and the long term future of Belfor
- Implementing a fully integrated Global Construction Company ERP Solution that is built on industry leading best practices that will support compliance, gains in efficiencies, risk mitigation and a high level of reporting across the enterprise
The Challenge
On the journey to replacing an outdated legacy system that could not maintain the growth that they were experiencing, Belfor identified the need for an ERP system designed not only for the construction and service industry, but one that could handle other lines of business, such as janitorial, landscaping, facility management and distribution. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne met these requirements, providing:
- An integrated, world class system designed for the construction and service industry, and more
- An up-front global design that could be repeated for 120 locations in the US and Canada
- An open system capable of integrating to third party business applications for data collection and document management
