What are ERP Vendors?

ERP vendors are business software developers and providers that create, sell and implement enterprise resource planning systems. Vendors are also responsible for developing updates and additional releases to keep up with changes in their clients’ industries. Examples include Oracle, Infor, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.

Are ERP vendors the only entities permitted to sell and implement ERP software?

Large ERP vendors such as Oracle have partners who are committed to consulting, selling, implementing, and even managing their ERP software. However, these partner companies, like Terillium, don’t develop the software itself.
