5 Ways to Tilt the Odds in Your Favor at COLLABORATE20

Make the Most Of Your COLLABORATE Conference Experience

Read time: 3 min.

The COLLABORATE conference is the largest user-led, user-focused event where you can get the entire scoop about Oracle products. From sessions, to VIP parties, to networking, C20 is the event to take your Oracle investments to the next level.

To tilt the odds even more in your favor, we’re sharing our top 5 tips to make the most of your COLLABORATE conference experience.

Strategize Your Perfect Agenda

COLLABORATE20 can only be as good as your hand, or more importantly your agenda. Give yourself the best chances of “winning” and gear your schedule towards the sessions that you specialize in. There are over 1,000 sessions, trainings, and demos – so map out your agenda before hand for optimal strategy. To help, we’ve put together the top 10 sessions not to miss for both JD Edwards and Cloud users.

The deep-dive workshops are back by popular demand. Get the most value by taking advantage of these workshops to ask questions and get the answers you need. This year, we’re excited to host three workshops covering popular JD Edwards Orchestrator manufacturing topics.

There’s also a new app this year. The education agenda builder now has cool new functionality in which you can share your agenda to get matched with others who use the same Oracle product. It’s the perfect feature to have in hand to meet other people, while you’re there.

Networking 101 – No Poker Face Needed

How often are you face-to-face with other Oracle users and vendors? COLLABORATE20 in general is a big networking event and Quest has really focused on bringing some brand new networking efforts to the (poker) table.

C19 was the first ever speed networking event, which is an opportunity to meet other Oracle users. It’s back again this year and expanding it with buddy match, which will pair attendees with veteran users. Throughout the conference, pairs will meet a few times to help maximize your time at the conference. Think of it as a mentoring program – learn what to do, what to attend, and who to meet with while on site.

“The breadth of great content helps us define a better team strategy moving forward.”

Hit the Jackpot by Participating

To really make the most of your experience, participation is key, or in this case the jackpot. Terillium is excited to participate in 8 sessions, including a couple with some of our favorite customers at COLLABORATE20.

Another new addition is Zip Labs. Designed to build familiarity with an Oracle database, these hands-on digital labs will guide you step-by-step at your leisure.

Place Your Bets and Visit Some Vendors

This year, more than 5,000 users from major consumer brands to technology, financial services, healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, public sector and numerous other industries will gather in Las Vegas.

A great way lock in a good first impression is to visit their booths. You can even add vendors to your agenda. Meet some of the 200+ Oracle solution providers, who can help you solve whatever challenges you’re facing. Make sure to login into the new COLLABORATE20 app, and you’ll find your vendors list under “My Exhibitors.” To help get your vendor agenda started, we’ve put together a list of some great booths to visit. Come stop by and say hello at our booth, #407!
