Brady Briggs // Corporate IT Senior Application Business Analyst, Worthington Industries

Worthington Industries Cylinders Division is in the early stages of a mobile app and IoT boom. With 16 JD Edwards plants globally, each with their own set of challenges and opportunities, agility and quick time to market is critical. With the Orchestrator Studio, a Business Analyst with knowledge of the business process is able to rapidly develop mobile solutions without having to trudge through the typically slow-moving waterfall development pitfalls.WI has been able to build new solutions and take existing apps built on traditional BSSVs and SQLs and add functionality via Orchestrations within minutes or hours something that would have taken weeks before Orchestrator. A big part of this is due to a SOA Orchestration Gateway which enables plug and play development. The Gateway acts like a train track and Orchestration Studio allows us to easily build the train cars to deliver business value.
