The Client
The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. is a leading manufacturer, specializing in precision machining, providing high-quality machined components and plastic injection molding solutions to aerospace manufacturers such as The Boeing Company and the Federal Government.
Lighthouse offers a range of services to commercial, federal, and military customers, operating across 15 locations to ensure easy access and same-day pickup or delivery of their products.
The key goals of project:
- Consolidation of three unconnected systems
- Provide a single source of truth with one integrated system
- Transition to a modern, up-to-date ERP system
The Challenge
Lighthouse was in need of a solution to streamline and update their critical business processes. They faced significant challenges due to their disparate, on-premise, outdated platforms, resulting in manual data entry, antiquated processes, and dual entry into multiple systems.
These inefficiencies led to issues with data silos, duplicative data, and a lack of data integrity, all of which hindered their operations and reporting capabilities.
Terillium provided:
- Expertise in migrating from JDE to Fusion Cloud
- Organizational Change Management tools and technology for migration
- Tailored integration solutions, including Base Supply store and Low Vision POS into a unified Oracle Cloud platform
Our Solution
Lighthouse chose Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications as its solution to modernize and streamline their back-office & operations platforms.
Lighthouse partnered with Terillium on a full transformation from their legacy JDE platform to a modern Fusion application footprint residing on Oracle’s Government Cloud platform.
Terillium implemented a transformational Cloud ERP, Manufacturing and Supply Chain solution and seamlessly integrated this solution to Lighthouse’s commerce platform and retail stores’ POS system.
Lighthouse now has a consolidated platform with automated processes, robust and reliable reporting and better access to critical data, significantly improving their operational efficiency.
