Our Sessions at JDE INFOCUS 2025
Join us September 9th through the 11th for the JD Edwards INFOCUS conference. We are excited to be back with you in Denver, as this year’s event promises an enriching experience for all attendees. INFOCUS 2025 brings together JD Edwards users, developers, business leaders, and Oracle experts for a week of hands-on learning, strategic insights, and community connection.
This year at Quest JD Edwards INFOCUS, we will be hosting four sessions on multiple JDE topics. To help you navigate the conference, we’ve put together a list of all our sessions at Quest JDE INFOCUS.
1. From Prompts to Processes: AI-Powered Digital Transformation for JD Edwards
Bryan Rose, VP of Digital Transformation at Terillium Inc.
Dan Barford, VP of JD Edwards Practice at Terillium Inc.
Digital transformation becomes real when everyday ERP work is easier—and smarter. This session brings the concept down to earth with a clear definition and real-world examples from JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, showing how smarter plays can lead to better results. Whether you’re taking advantage of new functionality in the latest release, simplifying processes with Orchestrator, or preparing for long-term improvements, you’ll see how the right strategy strengthens your JDE playbook.
We’ll explore:
- Using AI to clean, validate, and standardize master data for improved accuracy in JDE processes
- AI-assisted creation of routine documents like work instructions, SOPs, test scripts, and training guides based on JDE process data
- Building a digital transformation plan that aligns JDE capabilities, AI opportunities, and process improvements with business goals
- Using AI to analyze historical transactions and recommend process
You’ll leave with a practical roadmap JDE teams can start using right away: identify a process, automate it, layer in AI where it reduces friction, and measure the results—turning strategy into execution and execution into better outcomes.
2. Task Tracking in Release 24 and Beyond: Solutions to improve efficiency, provide controls, and simplify the user experience
Bryan Rose, VP of Digital Transformation at Terillium Inc.
Bernadette Durham, Director of JD Edwards Practice at Terillium Inc.
Session ID: P-051338
The JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Release 24 delivered awesome new functionality for Task Tracking – are you effectively using these new tools in your business? This workshop will give you insights into how Task Tracking can be used to drive and guide business process execution, provide process controls and timely notifications, and improve the user experience.
The session will include an overview of what Task Tracking is, explore how it works in conjunction with Orchestrations, and will provide a couple of demos of real-world implementation examples. We will also go behind the scenes for a high-level review of configuration.
This session is applicable whether you are supporting process improvement, trying to make your business users happier, developing solutions or managing delivery of those solutions.
3. EDI or Orchestration? Choosing the best solution for generating inbound electronic sales orders
Bernadette Durham, Director of JD Edwards Practice at Terillium Inc.
Session ID: P-051329
As we strive for efficiency in our sales order processes, interfacing sales orders from front end portals and web sites is an obvious way to reduce manual entry. But what is the best way to create those sales orders in JDE? We’ll look at how the standard EDI process stacks up against using orchestrations depending on the business scenario, and consider the pros and cons of both approaches.
4. Introduction to Advanced Pricing
Bernadette Durham, Director of JD Edwards Practice at Terillium Inc.
Session ID: P-051331
If you have avoided using Advanced Pricing because you think it’s too complicated, this is the session that will show you how straightforward it can be. We’ll walk through basic setup and review some of the common ways that Advanced Pricing can be used in the business. It’s not just a pricing tool – Advanced Pricing can also be used to introduce process controls – we’ll look at some real world examples. This session will show pricing solutions for Sales Orders and Purchase Orders, and the content is also very relevant for Finance users.
5. Hidden Gems in 9.2 for Developers
Garrett Ballow, Senior Consultant at Terillium, Inc.
Session ID: P-051380
We’ll take a look at under-the-radar features in 9.2 and show how developers can use them to boost productivity and deliver quick, high-impact improvements without a major overhaul. Examples include advanced Orchestrator tricks, incorporating Form Extensions and Personal Forms to spruce up user interfaces, and we’ll share some handy code snippets. We will also look at some common mistakes and how to dodge them.
We’re excited to reconnect with the JD Edwards community! Whether you’re exploring new functionality, modernizing your ERP environment, or simply looking for inspiration, Terillium’s sessions will offer valuable insights and hands-on guidance. Be sure to add these sessions to your agenda!
