The Client
Acme Brick has a long history in providing quality masonry materials to its customers. As with many businesses that have been in operation for decades, they needed to upgrade their technology to continue operating as a modern organization. Acme Brick was running JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0 across most of the company, but aimed to take advantage of the new features that EnterpriseOne 9.2 offers. Additionally, their HR department was already on 9.2, so making the upgrade brought the entire organization onto the same version.
The Challenge
Acme Brick wanted to stay up-to-date on the most current JDE version available. Terillium played a supporting role within the upgrade project from JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0 to 9.2. The main project objectives were to:
- Upgrade to the most recent version of JD Edwards
- Sync all areas of the company on the same version of JDE
- Utilize new functionality their 9.0 version did not offer
- Retrofit customizations and test them to ensure no new issues were introduced during the upgrade
Our Solution
Terillium provided Project Management guidance, as well as backup resources in both Technical and CNC areas. Terillium also delivered:
- In-depth knowledge of EnterpriseOne 9.2 software setup
- A proven methodology and leading-edge CNC knowledge that complemented Acme Brick’s CNC expertise
- A project completed well in advance and significantly under budget
