Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America (MEAA) is a global, leading green company that applies technologies to contribute to society and daily life around the world. MEAA has multiple plant locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and California. The locations had various legacy systems and many of those systems were built on older technology. As a result the company had inefficient, manual processes and lacked a unified data management strategy. Specific challenges included:
- Lack of integration between Order Management, Planning, Manufacturing and Accounting
- Inability to retrieve information from various systems – lacking one master data management system
The Challenge
Terillium collaborated with MEAA to implement JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Terillium used a flexible implementation approach that fit MEAA’s style and cost threshold. The project was driven by MEAA resources with oversight from the Terillium consultants.The new system provided MEAA with:
- A complete set of integrated processes across the enterprise
- The ability to handle automotive requirements
- The ability to scale across multiple locations
- An HTML / web-based user interface
