The Client
Incorporated in 1948, Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) provides reliable, cost-effective, environmentally balanced, wholesale electric services to 11 member distribution cooperatives in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Considering ODEC has been a JD Edwards customer for 26 years, it is not surprising that the not-for-profit electric cooperative is the first JD Edwards organization to go live on EnterpriseOne 9.2 in North America. ODEC always works to stay current with JDE, and soon after the latest 9.2 release was announced ODEC contracted Terillium to implement the 9.2 upgrade.
The Challenge
Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 was released in October 2015. In the months leading up to the new release Terillium prepared for 9.2 by participating in the beta testing and a Simplified Upgrade Process workshop offered by Oracle.
“Helping clients like ODEC stay current and take advantage of new JD Edwards features so soon after they are released is rewarding work. I’m confident ODEC will see a quick return on investment from their 9.2 upgrade,” said Jason Batte, vice president at Terillium.
The latest release of EnterpriseOne includes solutions that are SMART – Strategic, Mobile, Architected for Real-Time. These SMART solutions will continue to create a competitive advantage for JD Edwards users. Read more.
