What to Expect in the Next NetSuite Release – 2019.1

Ready or not, 2019 is approaching fast. For NetSuite users the new year will bring the next release – version 2019.1. The new release is likely to launch in March or April 2019.
While nothing is set in stone, some hints as to what will be included in the next release were shared during the recent keynote at SuiteConnect West during Oracle Open World. One of the main features mentioned was that users will gain enhanced visibility with SuiteAnalytics in the 19.1 release. The release will include:
- A new look – dashboards with have a refreshed visual design
- User-friendly tools like workbooks, pivots, drag and drop capabilities, hierarchies, excel-like customizable charts, integration with personalized dashboards
SuiteTax and SuiteCommerce will also be included in general release 19.1 as will a new localization for businesses with a presence in China.

Planning and Budgeting
NetSuite has announced an integration with Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud (PBCS) – because unfortunately “It’s always Planning and Budgeting time.” This integration enhances and expands NetSuite’s accounting capabilities into planning and predicting for the future of the organization.
Marketing
If you’re not yet familiar, NetSuite now also has an email marketing application – Bronto. Bronto allows businesses to automate and personalize transactional emails such as order confirmations, shipping notifications etc. Bronto also offers a sophisticated email marketing platform – if you’d like to take advantage of the capabilities a 30-day jumpstart program is available.
Social Impact
Over the past 12 years NetSuite has donated software to thousands of non-profits and charities. The Social Impact program is being expanded through an accelerator in order to “help nonprofits and social enterprises of all sizes quickly and easily take advantage of the latest cloud technologies to make the world a better place.” Through the program NetSuite is also offering pro-bono services, both technical and strategic consulting. In October SuiteConnect West took place in San Francisco. The event featured a day of educational sessions and networking opportunities. Evan Goldberg, Executive Vice President and NetSuite Co-Founder, kicked off the day with a keynote and hosted customers on-stage including: SugarBowl Bakery, Kiva, and the Golden State Warriors.
