Behind the Scenes: Exploring BLUEPRINT 4D with Quest
BLUEPRINT 4D is fast approaching, and we bet you have questions about the event. It’s the gathering spot for Oracle customers, product teams, and partners to learn, share, and network. We caught up with Jon Vaughn, CEO of Quest Oracle Community, for some exclusive behind-the-scenes insights on BLUEPRINT 4D.
We’re back in Dallas! How will BLUEPRINT 4D 2024 differ from previous Quest events?
This year’s BLUEPRINT 4D program will be like none you’ve ever seen before! Refreshed and expanded for 2024, the program is designed to help Oracle customers prepare their organizations – their teams, their tools and technology, and their strategies for the future.
Customers can now get access to six exciting programs: JD Edwards, PeopleSoft RECONNECT Live!, Oracle Cloud Summit, Executive Forum and new this year – Cross-Apps Technology & People Development programs.
What exciting new elements can attendees expect this year?
We have quite a few new things lined up that we’re excited about!
To begin, we will kick off the conference with an Opening Keynote from George Danner, Technology Futurist, Author, and AI Consultant, as he delivers an impactful opening session “Future Ready: Preparing for the Age of AI.”
You will also want to be sure and check out our two new special programs – both designed to help your organization get “future-ready”- Cross Apps Technology & People Development.
The Cross-Apps Technology program will help to ensure your organization is staying abreast of emerging tech and strategic solutions that help prepare organizations for what’s to come and include tracks for AI, Strategic Tech and Oracle Database, plus cross-apps cloud hot topics like Visual Builder, Fusion Analytics and Oracle Guided Learning.
For the People Development program, attendees will have the opportunity to dive deep into Change Leadership and Change Management, Talent Management, Business Analysis and Conscious Inclusion tracks.
Plus – Finance professionals, Business Analysts, HR generalists and IT managers can now earn recertification credits from NASBA, llBA and SHRM when attending BLUEPRINT 4D sessions!
What’s a can’t-miss that attendees can look forward to?
I would encourage any executive attendees to check out the Executive Forum. This program brings Oracle customer leaders together with special guest experts to explore what it means to be “future ready” and learn how others are successfully advancing their digital transformation strategies.
I would also highly encourage attendees to check out our two new programs, Cross-Apps Technology & People Development. Both feature hot topic tracks and several special guest speakers that we are extremely excited about!
Can you tell us about the keynote speakers and special guests attending the event? What unique perspectives will they bring to the discussions?
We have a great lineup in the works. George Danner, leading futurist and best-selling author, is on deck to deliver the Opening Keynote and several sessions in the Cross-Apps Technology program. Oracle’s Nathalia Rachelson & Sean Stacey are also set to speak on Oracle Fusion AI and what’s new in Oracle Database.
For the Business Analyst Track in the People Development program, we have Delvin Fletcher, President & CEO, International Institute of Business Analysts. Plus, Lisa Klarner, Certified Change Management Expert & Organization Coach will be presenting several sessions on Change Management.
Then we will have our Oracle Keynote speakers kicking off each program:
- Gary Grieshaber & Paul Houtkooper, JD Edwards
- Robbin Velayedam & Alex Man – PeopleSoft
- Guy Waterman, Cloud HCM & Gary Grieshaber, Cloud ERP – Oracle Cloud
What are some of the key sessions or workshops scheduled during the event, and how will they address the challenges and opportunities faced by today's businesses?
Quest understands that the pace of change in business today is accelerating and the companies who will be successful will be the ones that can effectively transform for the digital era. For that reason, we have worked tremendously hard to ensure that the BLUEPRINT 4D program is designed to help Oracle customers prepare their organizations for the future. From the BLUEPRINT 4D Opening Keynote session with George Danner to the specific tracks and sessions in the two new programs (Cross-Apps Technology & People Development), you will find that the “building a future-ready organization” theme is evident throughout – so definitely check those out.
If your organization is looking at making the move to Cloud soon, I would also highly recommend looking at our Move to Cloud program. This program is designed for JD Edwards customers who are working on their cloud strategy and will provide an opportunity to meet with Oracle product teams, explore migration options, learn from customers already in the Cloud and make connections to help their Cloud journey.
There are so many great sessions this year on the agenda, so I would suggest taking a look at the full session listing to see which would be a great fit for you and your team.
Will there be opportunities to meet and interact with Oracle representatives or product experts during the conference?
Yes! From Happy Hours on the show floor with the Oracle product strategy teams to the Lunch and Learn product demos and Meet the Expert sessions, there will be lots of time to interact and talk shop with product experts – including 1:1 customer meetings with Oracle.
And of course, there will be plenty of time to connect with product experts and solution providers at the Exhibitor Showcase. These solutions providers are a tremendous resource – if customers are not using this opportunity to pick the brains of our partner community, then they are missing a critical resource that contributes greatly to the collective knowledge of the community. Our exhibitors always do a great job providing resources and subject matter experts and delivering demos to help the customer community be successful with their Oracle investments.
