Roto-Rooter is the largest provider of plumbing, drain cleaning, and water cleanup services in North America. Roto-Rooter operates businesses in more than 100 company-owned branch and independent contractor territories. The company also includes approximately 400 independent franchise operations, serving nearly 90% of the U.S. population and parts of Canada. Independent franchise operations have been established around the world in Japan, Philippines, Mexico, United Kingdom, China, Indonesia, and Singapore.
The Challenge
Terillium provided key resources to review current processes and provide recommendations for the overall migration to the E1 applications. This involved reviewing legacy World processes to provide the best path possible for migrating their business from World to E1. Terillium’s overall upgrade methodology and experience coupled with Roto-Rooter’s strong organizational support provided for an extremely smooth cutover.
The key challenges of this E1 migration project included:
- Development and implementation of hundreds of financial reports
- Collaboration centered around Roto-Rooter’s extensive audit procedures
- Design and implementation of new security strategy from user base to role base

Terillium implemented the EnterpriseOne migration and delivered a modern, updated platform. This upgraded platform improves processes for Roto-Rooter’s payroll and accounts payable. Roto-Rooter now has an established foundation to build on for future phases.
