How to Create a JDE MCP Server

This session will walk through the real-world process of creating a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne MCP Server that connects AI tools to JDE through controlled AIS, REST, Orchestrator, Data Service, Form Service, and App Stack calls.
The presentation will cover the overall architecture, why MCP is useful for JDE, how natural language requests can be translated into safe and structured JDE actions, and how the server can expose capabilities such as querying tables and views, discovering REST services, calling orchestrations, reviewing security data, creating address book records, and initiating business transactions like sales orders.
This presentation will benefit JDE CNC administrators, developers, solution architects, business analysts, and IT leaders who are evaluating how AI can safely interact with JD Edwards. Attendees will learn what an MCP server is, how it can be applied to JDE, what security and governance boundaries are needed, where AIS and Orchestrator fit, and practical lessons learned from building a working prototype.
The goal is for attendees to leave with a clear understanding of how AI can become a guided JDE assistant rather than an unrestricted automation tool, and what steps they can take to begin building their own JD Edwards AI integration strategy.
Designing for Adoption: Building Readiness Throughout a JDE Transformation

Organizational readiness does not begin a few weeks before go-live. It begins with the project kickoff and evolves throughout the transformation journey.
Terillium and Wis Pak will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the work happening to build organizational readiness long before deployment.
Presenters will share how executive alignment is established and maintained, stakeholder awareness and engagement is built, change impacts are assessed, and role-based training strategies were defined early in the project lifecycle. They will also highlight the importance of integrating organizational change management strategy into the broader project team to identify risks and drive alignment, decision making, and adoption throughout the transformation.
The session will also include insights and early results from a pilot deployment, highlighting what worked, what challenges emerged, and how those lessons are being applied to future rollouts across the organization.

Orchestrator 201: Going Beyond the Basics

Built for attendees who already understand Orchestrator fundamentals and are ready to tackle more advanced scenarios, this session covers complex orchestration design: nested orchestrations, advanced error handling and retry logic, working with loops and conditional branching, and performance considerations for high-volume or high-frequency orchestrations.
The session will also address common advanced pitfalls, including issues that don’t show up in simple test cases but surface once an orchestration is running in production at scale, and how to design around them from the start.
This is a training-style session intended for developers and technical staff who have built at least a handful of orchestrations and are looking to level up their design patterns and troubleshooting skills.
Introduction to EDI for Sales Order Processing

EDI provides one of the most accessible efficiency gains in the area of Sales Order Processing, and yet many companies are hesitant to consider implementing because they don’t know where to start.
This session will provide a comprehensive overview of how to get started on EDI processing, focusing on inbound purchase order processing (Inbound 850) and outbound invoices (outbound 810). The session will also include foundational setups for generating Advanced Ship Notices (outbound 856).
We’ll also look at some associated functionality, such as Advanced Preferences that can support an efficient process flow for both EDI and non-EDI sales orders.
Media Object Characterization – As a Standard Solution to Increase Flexibility of Text Notes and Attachments

Text notes and attachments within JD Edwards are a fact of life in our organizations – customers require them, trading partners use them, and often we rely on them for process execution within the business. One common challenge is storing these text notes in a way that supports visibility and easy review for maintenance. Another challenge frequently encountered is controlling which text will be printed on which documents.
In this session we will look at a completely standard solution within EnterpriseOne for entry, maintenance and process execution using Media Object Attachments.to store text instructions, including use of CafeOne pages to provide visibility when using the system. This simple approach is flexible, innovative and could be applied to many business areas.
Using Case Management to Provide a More Complete RMA and Customer Care Solution

Managing returns and customer complaints isn’t something we usually want to focus on when implementing software, but it’s a business reality, and it is something we need to execute with excellence and flexibility.
This session looks at how basic Case Management functionality improves the ability to capture customer contact events, track the life-cycle of a customer complaint, and fully support all transactions associated with a customer return scenario. We’ll take a look at the improved analytics and reporting capability for returns, inventory quality issues, and overall management of RMA through use of Case Management.
We will also dig into the extra functionality that Case Management offers for managing any type of customer contact scenario, including Status visibility, task management, and the ability to associate scripts to diagnose common issues.
