We will also look at some common mistakes and how to dodge them.
6. Text Notes and Attachments - A Standard Solution to Increase Flexibility
Bernadette Durham, Director of JD Edwards Practice at Terillium Inc.
Thursday, September 11, 2025, 1:30 pm MT
Session ID: P-051330
Text notes and attachments within JD Edwards are a fact of life in our organizations – customers require them, trading partners use them, and often we rely on them for process execution within the business. One common challenge is storing these text notes in a way that supports visibility and easy review for maintenance. Another challenge frequently encountered is controlling which text will be printed on which documents. In this session we will look at a completely standard solution within EnterpriseOne for entry, maintenance and process execution using Media Object Attachments to store text instructions, including use of CafeOne pages to provide visibility when using the system. This simple approach is flexible, innovative and could be applied to many business areas.
We’re excited to reconnect with the JD Edwards community! Whether you’re exploring new functionality, modernizing your ERP environment, or simply looking for inspiration, Terillium’s sessions will offer valuable insights and hands-on guidance. Be sure to add these sessions to your agenda!
