INFOCUS 2025 brought the Quest Oracle community together in Denver for a packed week of sessions, strategy, and connection. It was a valuable opportunity for JD Edwards users to hear directly from Oracle about where the product is heading and how to use the tools available to deliver results.

ERP is evolving faster than ever, something we’re all well aware of. What stood out at INFOCUS was how JD Edwards users are putting cloud, AI, and enterprise automation into practice to move faster, make smarter decisions, and get more out of the tools they already rely on.

One of the biggest takeaways from the event was a shift from “maximizing” to optimizing. Organizations are focusing on initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes, making JD Edwards environments more innovative, more agile, and better aligned with real business goals.

Earlier this year, we ran a JD Edwards Community survey to see what users prioritize for the year. The results matched closely with many of the keynote themes, including:

• Leveraging automation to streamline workflows
• Using AI to gain faster insights and make better decisions
• Ensuring scalability and security across JD Edwards environments

INFOCUS 2025 was packed with live demos showing JD Edwards’ automation and AI capabilities:

• Process Modeler & Templates: Visual workflows, like order-to-cash with warehouse processes, now provide real-time metrics and highlight bottlenecks. Users can drill into connected processes to see the whole picture.
• Automated Patch Management: Applying patches used to take hours or days. Now, patches can be downloaded, uploaded, applied, and promoted automatically—in minutes.
• Widgets & AI Integration: Widgets can display data from orchestrations, EnterpriseOne grids, and AI insights. AI agents can automate tasks like pricing, market analysis, and quality checks. Using vectorized search, users can quickly identify out-of-range measurements across hundreds of POs and attachments—tasks that would have taken hours manually.

JD Edwards users can now spot issues, make decisions, and take action faster than ever, giving them the confidence to rely on data-driven choices.

If there’s one key lesson from INFOCUS this year, it’s staying up to date and focusing on continuous improvement unlocks JDE’s full potential. With Release 26 coming later this year, JD Edwards users can look forward to easier adoption, more streamlined updates, and tools designed to accelerate business transformation.

The conference also reinforced the power of community-driven ideas. From small sketches to AI-powered workflows, JD Edwards continues to evolve, and its future is full of opportunity for those ready to explore and innovate.

This year, our team held six sessions. These sessions demonstrated real use cases on how we’re see AI improving workflows. We focused on increasing efficiency in Release 24 with Task Tracking. We also highlighted lesser-known features that make daily tasks easier and work more manageable.

6. Text Notes and Attachments: Best practices for storing, reviewing, and managing text instructions and attachments in JD Edwards.
